We sincerely believe every teenager can benefit from participating in this week of service. Giving back to neighbors who need a helping hand is so important. This week is hard work, but it's also a lot of fun and a great opportunity to grow closer to God while being His hands and feet in Kershaw. In addition to working on home repair projects, students also participate in community service opportunities including car washes, sewing projects, neighborhood VBS, and so much more! Youth Serve days begin and end at Stevens Park (200 Close Circle, Kershaw, SC) and worksites are within 20 minutes of downtown Kershaw. Area churches host lunch and afternoon activities.

What to Expect

Example Daily Schedule:

Monday-Thursday

7 AM- Arrive at Pavilion

7:10-7:45- Welcome/Devotion time

7:45-8- Travel to work sites (in or near Kershaw)

8AM-12:45PM- Home repairs

12:45-1PM- Travel to designated church for lunch

1-1:30- Lunch at church

1:30-2:00 Family Group time

2-2:45- Games at church

2:45-3- Travel to afternoon activities (some activities will not require travel)

3-4:45- Afternoon Community Service Activities

4:45-5- Travel to Pavilion

5-6- Shower/Swim time

6-7- Dinner at Pavilion

7-8:30- Worship

8:30-9- Family Group

9PM- Pick up at Pavilion

Friday will be the same except between 2-5, we will head back to Pavilion for games!
